As the WNBA continues its unprecedented growth, we were tapped to develop the visual brand identity for the league's newest expansion team—the Toronto Tempo.

Steering away from traditional Toronto or Canadian themes, the client envisioned a brand system that focused purely on basketball - capturing its energy, movement, and growing influence around the world.

The resulting visual identity is the opposite of static. The Tempo brand is built entirely around motion, with a dynamic system that reflects the pace of basketball. The consistent use of angular design elements creates a sense of harmony and rhythm across all brand touchpoints, from merchandise to digital platforms, embodying the team's name and ethos.
