The McDonald’s All American Games are the premier showcase for the nation’s top high school basketball talent—an annual stage where future NBA and WNBA stars make their mark. For the 2025 edition, artist Tyrrell Winston brought his distinct visual sensibility to the event, with design and execution support translating that vision into key branded moments.
Using Winston’s NYC-inspired visual language—centered on his Noodle series and referencing vintage subway tokens—the court was designed as a full-scale expression of his aesthetic. A reimagined subway token anchored the center court, flanked by bold, custom typography on the baselines. The final result served as a tribute to ambition, legacy, and the raw energy of rising greatness.
That same visual system extended to special-edition youth jerseys, created for a pre-event visit to New Heights Youth Inc. in Brooklyn. The “New Heights” jerseys drew inspiration from the 2002 McDonald’s All American Games, where Carmelo Anthony made his mark. At the event, Anthony joined Winston to hand out the jerseys—creating a meaningful intersection of sport, design, and community engagement.
