Identity and packaging design for BGN–11, a limited-edition collaboration between Teenage Engineering and BentGableNits. The project included packaging for both the reimagined OD‑11 speaker—housed inside a restored 1930s tin toy dollhouse—and the collaborative Pocket Operator BGN-32, each positioned as part of the same surreal, collectible product line.
The visual system framed the art speaker as a home purchase rather than a piece of tech—complete with a wooden shipping crate, certificate of authenticity, warranty card, and instructional trifold. Inspired by midcentury toy packaging and real estate ephemera, the identity combined playful nostalgia with structure and precision, making the unboxing experience part of the narrative.
The campaign launched with Sounds Like Home, an immersive installation at the Shopify store in SoHo. Set in a miniature 1950s-style suburb, the exhibit featured ten one-of-a-kind dollhouse speakers and extended the identity across physical space, print materials, and in-store touchpoints.
