Brand identity for Bedrock, the leading real estate firm behind over 20 million square feet of development across Detroit and Cleveland. The rebrand refined and expanded the existing system—introducing a more versatile logo, updated typography, and a cohesive framework to support everything from leasing and innovation to historic restorations and public-facing activations.
At the core of the identity is the horizontal line running through the logo—acting as a literal and symbolic foundation. This structural element extends across wayfinding, signage, and brand collateral, creating recognition and consistency even without the full logo. A modern, legible typeface builds clarity across every application, while a new, robust color palette elevates the brand and adds flexibility across print and digital environments.
The rebrand also extended to a custom icon set and a series of graphic patterns inspired by key Bedrock properties—tying the brand back to the architectural landmarks it has helped shape. The result is a flexible, grounded identity system that reflects Bedrock’s evolving role as both a builder and civic partner.
