NFX

We helped evolve NF Forward into NFX, a bold, contemporary brand built to reflect the organization’s expanding role in neurofibromatosis research and advocacy. NFX funds scientific and medical research that aims to advance treatment options and brings us closer to a cure for NF.

At the heart of the new identity is the “X,” a visual and conceptual anchor symbolizing the X factor: the patients, researchers, donors, and caregivers propelling progress for those living with NF.

The visual system leans into dynamic repetition and rounded forms, using an X-pattern and softened edges to convey clarity, energy, and approachability without feeling rigid. This flexible graphic language was applied across every touchpoint, creating a unified expression that feels confident and connected.

The resulting identity positions NFX as a serious yet accessible leader in the high-impact research space to discover and develop targeted treatments for neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).
