In partnership with Cranbrook Art Academy & Museum, the annual fundraising event was reimagined with a new name and identity—supporting the next generation of artists emerging from one of the country’s most influential art institutions.
The new name, Comm-Union, reflects the event’s focus on connection and collaboration—core values shared by both the Academy and the creative community it nurtures. One of the key touchpoints was the invitation, designed as a single folded, origami-inspired piece that merged envelope and content into one. The format encouraged interaction, transforming a traditional mailer into something more sculptural and memorable.
