ALEO is a boutique bed and breakfast located in Detroit’s Little Village neighborhood, housed in a restored rectory that blends historic character with the artistic energy of its surrounding community.

During the discovery phase, symbolic Pewabic Pottery tiles were found inside The Shepherd—ALEO’s adjoining church—featuring an Angel, Lion, Eagle, and Ox. These figures became the foundation for the name and visual identity, with original icons developed to honor and reinterpret the historic motifs.

The brand system was designed to reflect the warmth and intentionality of the space, with thoughtful touchpoints that create a welcoming and meaningful experience for every guest.
