ALEO

ALEO is a boutique bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Detroit’s Little Village cultural neighborhood. Housed in a transformed rectory, ALEO celebrates its historic charm while embracing the art-focused spirit of its community.

In the discovery process of the then-not-yet-named bed and breakfast, we noticed Pewabic Pottery tiles in the The Shepherd - its connecting church - that featured symbolic reliefs of an Angel, Lion, Eagle, and Ox. Thus, ALEO was born.

Continuing to use these historical elements as inspiration, we developed a visual brand identity that reflected the tone of the physical space, and created original icons of the aforementioned Angel, Lion, Eagle, and Ox.

Beyond the brand identity, we crafted touchpoints that warmly welcome guests to ALEO, reflecting the inviting and meaningful essence of the brand and space.
